Oh good, Flash and Silverlight and XBox all wrapped in one… As a kind of afterthought, I wonder how the Flex vs. Silverlight race goes…

and the audience prize is a microsoft product? seems a little biased to me ;)

Darren Osadchuk said in May 2nd, 2009 at 8:50 pm

The other audience prize that Adobe was kind enough to donate is the winner's choice of one of the Creative Suite 4 Premium software packages (Web Premium, Design Premium, or Production Premium). So depending on the selection, that's up to US$1800 worth of software to start building fantastic Rich Internet Applications. Hopefully that evens out the bias a little bit. :)

As a webmaster I came through the evolution from Flash to Silverlight.. Silverlight is really convenient in creation of applications and widgets templates, though I can't deny that Flash is better for some creative web masters.

I am a big fan of Adobe although Silverlight is pretty powerful. Adobe products are just so easy to use in my opinion.

Flash and Silverlight – very impressive. But watch out, javascript libraries like jQuery are becoming more powerful every day and animation is a big part of this…
